Ryan sleeps, eats, and breathes cameras, filmmaking and creative software. He’s proficient at digitally capturing moving images and cutting them together with both speed & excellence.
He got his start early on in music production, and segued into film in 2002. He’s worked as a director, photographer, editor and cinematographer in both the private and corporate sector. He shot and edited several short films for The Science Museum of Minnesota and has been on set directing a National and Regional commercial campaign for a little company called Walmart, both at the National and Regional level.
When Ryan’s not sipping a cup of coffee at a local twin cities coffee shop, he’s spending time in the northwest burbs of Minneapolis, MN with his hilarious wife Dayna, daughter Presley and their little dog Guster.
With “JK” for initials, you’d expect a future in comedy. Joe Kessler uses humor and a fast-paced, animated style every time he hits the stage or gets in front of the camera. He brings over 17 years of combined acting and comedy experience from performances at House of Comedy (Mall of America) and Comedy Sportz (Minneapolis, MN). He’s traveled doing stand-up comedy tours and motivational speaking all over the country and has thrilled audiences with his unique style.
Free Time? Well, that usually gets filled up with writing scripts, going to local sporting events or stand-up comedy shows; and of course vacuuming…it’s so therapeutic;). His improv comedy troop; Slap Happy Comedy, keeps him busy on the road, and when home, he spends time with with his wife Terese, and daughter Jovie.
Joe produced his 1st Short Film with Square One Films for the Minneapolis Z-Fest which finished “Best Of Fest” in 2013. He has also starred in nationwide commercials and advertisements for Walmart, Best Buy, Target, Subaru, Red Robin, JVC, Select Comfort and Volkswagen.
